The Hayes Symphony Orchestra was formed in 1947, is conducted by Steven Moore and is made up of players of all ages from students to senior citizens.

Prior to each concert, the orchestra meets for nine weekly rehearsals on a Wednesday evening at West Wickham Methodist Church, Hawes Lane, West Wickham BR4 9AA at 7.45pm for two hours.

A mid-rehearsal tea/coffee break allows players to enjoy the warmth of this friendly orchestra.

The Hayes Symphony Orchestra is registered under the name of ‘Hayes Orchestral Society.’ An Annual General Meeting is held each year to which all players are invited.
